Akosua Dufie Nyamekye obtained her Bachelor of Law Degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology where she served in various capacities such as the Judicial Chairperson of the Independence Hall, a member of the SRC Judicial Committee, Acting Judicial Chairperson-NUGS (National Union of Ghana Students) KNUST as well as a member of the SRC Legal Affairs Commission. Dufie is a product of Wesley Girls’ High School, Cape Coast.
She started working in the firm in February, 2019 as an intern. Prior to her internship with the firm, Dufie interned with Moomin & Boota Solicitors, Kumasi where she assisted the lawyers in their research work.
In October 2019, she successfully completed training in the Energy and Natural Resources Law Mentorship Programme organized by REM Law Consultancy in collaboration with the Ghana School of Law where she was trained in the legal framework and some technical mechanisms in various sectors including petroleum and mining.
Dufie has a passion for Corporate Law, Energy and Natural Resources as well as Banking and Insurance Law. She is affable, resilient and eager to learn.
