Deborah Akuoko-Firempong is the personal assistant to the Managing Partner, Thaddeus Sory. She is diligent, effervescent, and resourceful.
Deborah is the Managing Partner’s first point of contact with people both within and outside the firm. She meets and greets them warmly and ready-to-help attitude. She performs administrative and secretarial tasks for the Managing Partner including managing his diary, booking appointments, assisting in editing documents, managing large incoming calls and emails among others.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law with a minor in Sexuality Studies from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. Deborah holds of Master of Arts degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) where she wrote a thesis titled, “United Nations (UN) and the Sexual Exploitation and Abuse by UN Peacekeepers: A Case Study of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).”. She’s a strong advocate for women’s and gender rights.
Deborah enjoys intellectual discussions, traveling, dancing, and singing.
